Die Existenz ist heilig!

A raw sound highly sough after, structures between Hard Rock, Progressive and Death Metal, with less tense and melodic atmospheres, and an eclectic and original powerful voice. The music is characterized by polyrhythms, dynamics, odd time, standard tuning, tight pattern based on blues-rock groove, more riff-based structures, and a rhythm section that supports the melodies guitar and voice but also imposes its own presence.

 

Heller Schein was born in 2002 from the idea of singer and guitarist Francesco ‘Franz’ Massimiliani, which used more and different musicians according to his need.

In these terms he begins to propose the project, playing live and making his first demo in 2004.

Three years after, the band is integrated by drummer and composer Paolo Massimiliani (singer’s brother). The single ‘Blues in Bo’ sees the light (2006), and Francesco leaves the guitare to devote himself fully to sing.  In 2008 the line up is completed with guitarist Nicola Deodato and bassist Federico Massara,  becoming known in the underground Bologna area, reaching in this moment their musical maturity.

In 2013 Massara  leaves the band and he’s replaced by David Salvatore Nicolais. In 2015 the band stands out from Rock Against Chaos and Hotpot Recordings, arriving at the first full length ‘Sonic Clash Warning’ (january 2016). At the end of recordings Nicolais leaves the band and he’s replaced by Davide Laugelli.

In march 2016 Heller Schein signes  a management  deal  with  L’Alchimie Agency.

 

 

The current line up consists of Francesco Massimiliani (Vocals), Paolo Massimiliani (Drums), Nicola Deodato (Guitar) and Davide Laugelli (Bass).
